Recipe: Easy Lavender Cookies

Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter
11/2 cups granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup dried, chopped lavender blossoms
 
Directions:

1. Mix the dried, chopped lavender blossoms with the sugar. Cream the butter and sugar well, then gradually add the salt and flour. Mix thoroughly.

2. Chill the dough for about an hour, or until firm enough to handle.

3. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Form the dough into 1-inch balls and place on un-greased cookie sheet. Press down on the balls with a fork, to flatten.

4. Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Cool on racks and then enjoy!
